What is wrong with you guys ??
Hamilton becoming a brat and coming across badly All he has done is get done by the cops for a burn out - and who hasnt done that sort of thing in their 20's ? After Qualifying he was open that he went as fast as he could - he just wasnt fast enough - pretty honest. He had a great drive yday and was unlucky Webber hit him - tyre call was marginal I think as nearly worked - and team had no idea if tyres would last - was a bit too vocal abt strategy being wrong but he was right and should be allowed to get pissed off
F1 needs characters - Lewis is only just a character and misbehaviour should be encouraged.

Characters, agreed. And no complaints about the burnout, quali etc.
Brats no.
If he finished a race by lighting up a tab and snogging a bird (a la Hunt) then that's fine and characterful. Ending a race by blaming your team for screwing you over, not cool at all...
Webber was a real cock throughout the race, though... Raced like a demon, but left his brain in his trousers.

I appreciate the team could have left Lewis out and he may well have got 2nd - but choosing to bring Lewis in probably was correct to cover if the tyres didnt last. But as this then turned out to be the wrong strategy surely Hamilton is allowed to say it messed his result up ? Coz it did. He didnt say the team were rubbish and he hated them all - he just said the strategy was wrong - which it was in hindsight. After such an amazing drive and 2 tons of adrenalin flowing thru the veins I dont blame him.

Hamilton drove an outstanding race - proper raw talent and balls the size of melons - how about that turn 11 overtaking maneuver against Rosberg - outstanding
Whatever your personal views on Hamilton - he is a true professional both as a driver and from a public relations perspective. He had every right to question the decision that lost him the race. Good grief - can you imagine Alonso's reaction......give him any opportunity to bitch about his team and he'll jump in feet first

Hamilton's overtake just showed his awareness and skill, when compared to Webber, who seemed desperate !

Yes, but he did hint at a witch hunt... and that just brattish.
Of course he is a stunning, naturally gifted driver of world championship winning quality, but just occasionally his feet get a bit too big for his sparcos.

I'm all for a bit of anger and frustration in the paddock. It tells me that Lewis still wants to win and was trying as hard as could.
I thought his bluntness after qualifying was refreshing 'I just wasn't fast enough'.
There's too much 'I'm a really, really nice bloke and I want to thank the team...again' in F1.

Re: 2010 Australian GP (spoilers)
My impression of Australia from living there for 18 months was that it was a pretty laid back and friendly place. The report from the police on Hamilton's wheel spinning may reverse that opinion. Sure give him a slap on the wrist, naughty boy and all that, but its not the end of the world! From the police report, you would think he had just shot someone. An Aussie Minister has called him a dick head, for the awful crime of "deliberately losing traction".
I myself got a telling off for "deliberately losing traction" by the police in Paris. The situation was made slightly worse by Harsh explaining in pigeon French to the police man, that the Atom was impossible to drive

In contrast I was applauded for spinning the car round in France while they decided where they would put the car on the ferry.

Paraphrasing...
Interviewer: "Do you know who made the decision to bring you in for tyres?"
Hamilton: "No, but I'm going to make sure I find out."

The french police (what do you call them Joon damie Hedge?) do certainly enjoy such antics. Have done a few myself - there were a few police in the crowd here at le mans in 2000

Not exactly a witch hunt - if the boss says 'Its was me' Lewis cannot say much more than 'oh - bollocks'.
