    what are the uprights off on ariel atom 3 300 I think they look like rover please help

I think the uprights are custom.  The bearing / hub is Rover as far as I know (MGF / Metro)

Yes custom made by Arch Motors who make the rear uprights and most other parts metalwork for the car. Dont bother calling them though they will not sell parts direct.

Not much change from £500 I imagine, not seen any quoted costs since ~2007 when it was around £420  ..

I'm not sure if that includes the wheel bearing ..

Uprights would be bare I suspect No Bearing 

When you start to add a corner up it gets expensive

upright is now £650 + vat  front aerofoil which was purchased from factory in nov 2012 for£1360 + vat have just had quote from ariel for £1600+ vat quite a percentage increase having second thoughts about this feeling very disappointed

To fit the front wing, you would need to have had the front tow bar option fitted at build time as it's to this assembly that the front wing is attached. It can be fitted post-build but it's more work of course ..

What are you having second thoughts about? Just the wings? Presumably if you need the uprights, you need the uprights, not much you can do about that. But there is not reason you have to have wings. Many prefer the look of the car without.

The point of dispute is the nearly 20% increase in price of front wing not that i need uprights i have purchased uprights and have just fitted them and re_alligned great car, pricing structure a touch vague Good job i love the rush of driving thisrocket

The prices I showed are the same as yours !

I suggested/quoted from Ariel's own configurator -  Front CF wing + mounts £1,565 + VAT
You said you were charged £1,360 + VAT for the wing and £204 + VAT for the front mounts

In my book that's within £1 ..

yeah fine but price increase is £240 in 15 months quite a percentage jump
