AO48s or R888s?

I use them on the MX5 and the are fantastic for the money. Grip levels around Thruxton a few weeks ago was tremendous and they also give good feedback. R888s were always my tyre of choice on the Atom, but those who think these are a trade down would be missing a trick imo. They are 95% of the tyre at 60% of the cost.

They may be a little difficult to get temperature into for the Atom though, especially the fronts. I know a few MX5 guys who swear by them.
