Stuart - forgive my ignorance but are you saying that just removing the large top Allen bolt will not impact alignment?  Is this also true for the two bolts that have to b removed for the front fenders?  I am looking to take all my fenders off and am Hopi g it will not impact my alignment.

I am no expert but the bolts come out and go back in exactly the same place.

I struggle to see what could change. The front does have the added complication of removing the bolt front the steering rod connection but once again this should locate exactly as it was originally.

I am sure if someone has any greater knowledge they will comment on this.

On my car I had the geometry set up and at the same time established what turns on each bolt altered so I could alter the car on trackdays to try different things.

But removing bolts and putting them back without altering any of the rod ends should make negligible differences.
