Is there any interest for Trollstigen - Norway 2014?

Post by Paros » Sun Dec 29, 2013 12:52 pm

One of the best roads in Europe is supposed to be Trollstigen in Norway.
Is there any interest to arrange a trip there under 2014?

Information from the website below:

Location
Geiranger - Trollstigen National Tourist Route is a 106-kilometre-long stretch of road between Lake Langvatnet on Strynefjell and the Sogge Bridge in Romsdal in Fjord Norway.

The road
Geiranger - Trollstigen is a road through west Norwegian nature at its most powerful, with a dizzying view of sheer mountainsides, waterfalls, deep fjords and fertile valleys. Since tourism was in its infancy, tourists from all over the world have visited Geiranger and Trollstigen.

Ummmm...

http://www.petrolheadnirvana.com/driving-tours/viking/the-viking-tour-itinerary/

I could repackage this as an Atom tour and turn some of the longer days into two days...

I'm not trying to sell this, just to point it out...

Other tours to Norway are probably available.

(Obviously, if there's any objection to this being in this thread, let me know and I'll rephrase it...)

I really want to do a Scandinavian trip sometime. Either this year or next.
First Atomised 2001.
Atom (165) > Atom 2 (220) > Atom 3 (300) > Atom 3.5 (310) > Atom 4 (350).

How many days do you want want in this event?
I am thinking a weekend (at Trollstigen).

The weather is not predictable in this area, so I am thinking somewhere in late July.

I think my Scandinavian trip will be next year. We have a French/Swiss Alps trip this year, in August, which will be the big one.
