Okay everyone, as most people were reasonably flexible the date will be ....

15th SEPTEMBER 2013

Meet at Heston Services on the M4 (Eastbound) at 07:30hrs
I will work on the itinerary over the weekend and post back when ITN files will be available.
I'm sure I will be able to do a Garmin version and a paper version as well for non Tom Tom people.

Unfortunately this is also the VMXDN weekend at Farleigh Castle so I am out  :'(

Never mind though, you can't get 'em all all the time!!  This will be great fun, i'm jealous.

Does anyone know if you can park a tow car and trailer at Heston services for the day?  How much?

Found my answer:
Parking Prices
First two hours free for all vehicles, after which cars must pay £12 and HGVs £18.50, or £20 to include a £9 food voucher.
Prices are paid using PayByPhone - more details. The location code is 2442 (westbound) and 2441 (eastbound).
The fees are strictly enforced by CP Plus.

Don't get your trailer pinched, very desirable.

Yes Julian that is a worry.  Spose I could just drive it there from Bristol, but would have to use the A4 cause an hour and a half on the M4 would just be a grind

Sir Nick You could leave your trailer at my house if you like (secure yard) in Watford and only 20 minutes from Heston

Thanks Andrew that very generous of you.  It's a trailer I borrow from the golf club and if it went missing I would have to cough up!  £4k ouch!

First thing I must do is make sure I can borrow it on the 15th Sept.!  I'll get back to you mate...

Cheers

I'll be driving - if I'm on my own I get up a bit earlier and go A4 to Newbury then M4, but my passenger is likely to object to the earlier start to do that ;)
