I have to admit that I am now in withdrawal from the 'Golden Fruity Juices'
I have found a few recipes for Ratafia biscuits which Mark says I should have a go at..............can't think why?!

Re: Champagne region September 6th-9th 2013
Hi everyone, first of all thanks for the very, very kind words regarding the accident and our recovery. What a shame that such a great weekend ended that way. It was great to see so many old and new faces on the trip and to see everyone get on with each other considering we are all from so very different walks of life.
As far as Jane and I are concerned, we were taken to the William Harvey Hosp in Ashford in separate ambulances. I was helped out of the car by the emergency services as it turned out I had cracked my sternum and couldn't lift myself out due to pain.
Jane was more complicated as even I could see she had a broken leg due to bits pointing in directions that they were not meant. Apparently the fire service removed the side of the chassis and took her out sideways. We were both assessed at the scene and at Hosp to have the above confirmed. Jane had an operation on the Tuesday which appears to be successful. Scans of me suggested that I had bled from the spleen so they wanted to keep me in fo 4-5 days. I didn't want to stay and discharged myself on the Tuesday and came home. Jane had her op and was discharged on the Thursday.
We have had loads of support and kind words from the club and members have run around getting us reunited with our possessions which we hugely appreciate so thanks to everyone for their support, cards and of course the beautiful flowerers from you all.
I am not sure where we go from here, i need to chat with Tom once they have the car back but I am sure it will lead to further atom ownership. I already miss not having access to mine but at least it's the end of the season and I still have the forum wich I love being part of very much.
So to sum up, thanks to everyone and to those that have visited and dropped bits and pieces off.
Thanks to Inga & Mark for organising a really great weekend, excellent.
Thanks all.
Julian & Jane
