Not long to go now so a few more details. I propose the following schedule:
Saturday
10-11:00AM meet at my place in Cambourne near Cambridge, Clare will do bacon sandwiches
11:00 set off towards Thetford via a series of Atom friendly back roads
14:00 ish. Stop in Thetford for some Dad's Army action, spending about 90 mins to do
www.dadsarmythetford.org.uk/downloads/dadsarmy.pdf
16:00 head for hotel, as above post This is in plenty of time for any ladies who are coming along to have a Spa treatment and that type of thing. More driving on offer for those that are not so keen.
Sunday
-Set off after a leisurely breakfast for Great Yarmouth for a quick visit to the seaside. North Sea swimming optional
-Take the coast road from Gt Yarmouth to Hunstanton (one of the great driving roads in the region I am told)
-Lunch somewhere around Hunstanton
-Start to head West back toward civilisation, again by non main roads.
Route details to be available much later this week......

Regrettably, I am now having a knee operation this week, so will have to be excused boots...
Carry on, chaps.

Forecast is hot on Saturday and Very Hot on Sunday. If you can't join for the entire weekend join for either day.

Hmmm BBC Weather is not so optomistic - Saturday is good at 28'C, Sun & Clouds but Sunday is 21'C with Sun & Rain, possibly Thundery
And for anyone thinking of booking the Hotel ... Good News 1 Room left ... Bad New £415

Meteogroup are who the F1 teams use and they say 35 degrees on Sunday!
Means the hotel must be nice if they can chance their arm at that price. Or it means I will be kept up all night by a wedding.......

BBC Vs Meteogroup - We shall see.
Also, anyone else doing the 'easy' A14 journey on Saturday Morning, 9ish at Cathorpe (A14/M6/M1) junction would be an easy meet up point ?

Ben, I can only attend for Saturday now as I have to schlepp down to Somerset on Sunday for Ariel to take a look at the car's poorly brakes.
If you can PM me your postcode I'll be there for bacon sarnies.
Rob.

Hi Ben,
Thanks for a great day on Saturday with some fun roads and BBC informed me that it was the hottest day of the year in Suffolk so well planned, just a shame my car shed it's rear plate
