Pistonheads is running this:
Chateau Run 2007
Following on from last year's successful event (discounting the bit where we got stopped by the Gendarmerie) the Chateau Run for 2007 is in the process of being finalised.
The main difference for the 2007 Run is that it will be spread over a weekend, rather than a single day. The relevant dates are Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th June 2007.
This year we intend to travel to Chateau Tilques.
Itinerary:
Friday:
Meet at services (J8 on the M20) at 8:30a.m. Depart at 9:00 to catch the 10:20 am EuroTunnel. Arrive chateau Tilques approximately 12:30 pm - afternoon free to either drive out or just relax and enjoy the surroundings at chateau Tilques with a few glasses (bottles!) of vino. Informal evening meal at chateau Tilques.
Saturday:
Drive/convoy/possible vineyard and tour - TBA
Formal dinner at Chateau Tilques - hopefully Black Tie and Posh Frocks.
Sunday:
Depart Chateau Tilques late morning, heading back to Calais via Boulogne and the scenic coast road. Calais to Folkestone crossing at 16:50 pm.
For anyone interested in joining us details are listed below for you to make the relevant bookings (Eurotunnel and chateau accommodation)
