NEC Motorcycle Show

Post by Bruce Fielding » Fri Oct 17, 2008 7:35 am

If you want to check out EVERY bike helmet available. If you want to look at ALL the heated clothing. If you're looking for the very latest stuff. Or even if you're just interested in bikes...

Anyone want to go as a group this year?

I'd definitely be up for it, as I could do with some new gear for when mine arrives in Jan, and it would be nice to meet up with a few people.

Count me in. I should be ok with any date

If anyone's going in their Atom and has a spare seat, can I blag a pax ride? I'm in the Oxford area, but could come to you if you're not a silly distance away.

thanks,
Rob.

I could be on for this, but it's an awfully long way up north.

Yeah, might do this one. Always a good show for equipment that might be useful in the Atom. Or for a bike...when I get round to replacing mine. I keep feeling the need to pop into Chiswick Honda (huge dealership) for a dribble.

Haven't been to this for a couple of years so might think about going as it'll only cost me £5 for a ticket now.  ;)

I'll go with the flow.

Happy to do the posh (Preview) day, or any weekday - weekends are full of kids.

Thickie question, but what's the difference between a preview day and a regular day? Anyway, assuming the general public can purchase stuff on the preview day, i'm happy with that date.

Correct, well nearly.

The concessionary tickets are for 'Over 60s' not Pensioners, and I don't have a bus pass although I'm eligible for one but then, who travels on a bus? I certainly don't.

Faq it....!!

Q) What is Preview Day?
A) NEW for 2008, Preview Day visitors will have access to all the Show features FREE OF CHARGE. So for £28.00 (Adults) you will not only get the first public viewing of the Show, an hour extra, more celebrities, more staff on exhibitor stands, more opportunities to participate in the interactive feature areas, you will also be able to participate in the Mini Moto and Karting, visit the Thunderdome Games Arena and the Wall of Death ALL FREE OF CHARGE.

The phrases "£28" and "ALL FREE OF CHARGE" seem at odds with one another to me, but i'm happy enough with that price. So, preview day anyone...?

Yup.

I'm up for that.

'All included' might have been a better expression of the offer...
