British Motor Museum/Jaguar Heritage day out - Gaydon
Re: British Motor Museum/Jaguar Heritage day out - Gaydon
Hi all, just to confirm it is 9 of us who are visiting, if you are thinking of coming along please post here.....
The museum will give us a discount for 12 or more cars but this has to be pre-booked. If the group falls below 12 then the 'day rate' is charged, it's not expensive either way TBH. They have confirmed we will have an area allocated to us so we can all park together.
Will look at routes from this neck of the woods and happy to link up with others either en-route or at the venue.
Cheers

What time are we all meeting on Saturday?

Re: British Motor Museum/Jaguar Heritage day out - Gaydon
Our children are away and we may take the opportunity to have a Saturday somewhere, in which case we'll probably want to take the 720S and stay somewhere nice nearby. Would that offend too many people? (The 720, not the night away)

What time are we supposed to meet. I know sometimes some very old people don't like non Ariel cars turning up. We'll take the Atom and drive back if that's a requirement, absolutely love it either way. You'll like the yellow car though...

Hi all, plan is to get there by 10 or so. Weather is looking great for the weekend. We can meet at the venue if that suits or arrive together? I’ll be travelling up from just south of Oxford, what are everyone’s preferences?
Re: British Motor Museum/Jaguar Heritage day out - Gaydon
No problem, 720 more than welcome

Happy to meet on route to BMM. I’m coming from North Cotswolds so would usually head up the Fosse Way then across to Gaydon but flexible.

We'll be coming via the M40 from London, it'd be nice to meet on the way.

Hi,
Just looking at possible meet up options.
1. If anyone wants to join me on the way up from Thame then LMK, I'll be going through the back roads.
2. As a group we can meet around Banbury or a larger group it has always worked ok at the services at Wolvercote?
3. Museum opens at 10am, breakfasts are pretty good I'll ask them to allow for 10, just in case some make the call late to attend and wish to meet there.
See you all tomorrow.
