P1 International Supercar Sunday

We have been invited to the P1 International Supercar Sunday. I may well try to go along, but if anyone else is interested please let me know.

"I am once again hosting our bi-annual supercar sunday event on Sunday Sept 11th at De Vere Horsley Park, Surrey from 10am - 2pm.

This is a very successful event that was previously held at Chris Evans' pub - The Mulberry Inn but we have outgrown it and have needed to move to a bigger location. At my last event I had 3 x Bugatti Veyron, 3 x Ford GT, etc etc. I also had from a deaIer, the new Bentley GT, the Vantage S and representatives from some of the Ferrari dealerships. This time I expect to have over 100 supercars from private owners (almost exclusively modern supercars) and I will have the Aventador coming. I plan to get the new Zagato along and I would like to invite you to bring along one of your cars. I have always had Atoms at my events before (Bachi Mehta is a champion of yours, Ben Yeats has one and our member Robert Moore was going to buy one). I have attached some images of previous events and a nice one of Chris Evans in one of your cars!"

I exhibited my Atom at the last one of these at Chris Evan's pub, 3 Veyrons parked next to each other is not something you see every day.  I can't make it this time but would recommend going along

I was going to be going but as the weather looks only good for ducks I am not driving up from deepest darkest Wiltshire so have dropped out.

I can't go to this, but please do let me know if you are interested. You will need to email the chap before hand. I looks like a great event, so it would be a shame if we couldn't get one car there.

Just got back from this event, weather was brilliant until half an hour from home, when it got darker and darker, then thunder, then hail (ouch) then heavy rain for 10 minutes. Ended up sitting in a pool of water, but all my stuff was dry in the waterproof bag so no problems.

Taken lots of pictures. They were expecting me thanks to a late email from Richard Marler.

People were interested, but I got the impression that they thought the Atom was a bit out of place there amongst the "Supercars". Most cars left around 12:30 to get back in time for the F1 GP, the event ended around 1:30pm.
