I’m booking in a service shortly with Ariel, so will get them to give it a good check over.

Maybe the wings are angled wrong too? Too much on the rear and not enough on the front?
Maybe - my front wing is at maximum and rear at the mid point

I didn’t think the wings actually did anything for grip and were purely for aesthetics? Have they actually been put in a tunnel and tested?

HaHa! I think the front does something, but on a cup, the air intake and MSA rollover hoop cause too much turbulence for the rear wing - especially given how low it is.

The atom 4 air intake I'd smaller and the rollover hoop is integral, so more chance of the rear wing doing something - rather that just creating drag.

They look nice, but the rear isn’t doing anything. Front, I would say little if anything? There was one with an ex F1 front element fitted, the guy said it worked to a degree but had to be set very low. It’d be useless on the road and to see any difference you’d likely be over 100 mph, which everyone knows is really, really naughty and cannot be condoned.

I now that Speedmachine has played with them and is quite convinced they make a difference. He's a well experienced driver btw.

I had some extended rear wing uprights fabricated to try and address any doubts as to the wing being too low ..
Standard one is on the right ..

Gosh they were heavy! Made a newbie error and used stainless steel instead of aluminium ::)

Dual element CF wing was made for me by Reverie, now part of their standard offering.

There’s some lovely shots of Bills 4 going around the track. Hopefully he’ll post!
