Waiting on an Atom, in New Zealand
Re: Waiting on an Atom, in New Zealand
For Bruce: Clearly this thread bores you...
Stop reading this then and go back to the self inflicted torture of not having an Atom at hand.

Re: Waiting on an Atom, in New Zealand
Make sure you have someone there to catch you when you faint...
Re: Waiting on an Atom, in New Zealand
I want someone there with a camera to catch the expression on his face when it's unveiled and he can actually touch it.

Re: Waiting on an Atom, in New Zealand
I've hinted at knowing the time when he's going to "be popping down to supervise unloading the container after customs have released it and loading the truck, unloading the truck etc."
Still waiting for a reply.

Re: Waiting on an Atom, in New Zealand
How long does it have to sit at the dealer before he gets to drive it?
Re: Waiting on an Atom, in New Zealand
More like how long will the wharfies want to play with it before it's released.
Re: Waiting on an Atom, in New Zealand
Sorry I missed that one.

Let me know if you need an escort. I'll might be in town.
The forum will hate you if they don't get that picture of your face when you first clap eyes on it.
See if Andrew is coming across for the event. I would be keen to catch up with him re NZ AAOC."
I'll be in contact with the customs guy as to when it arrives and is unloaded (pending customs release obviously) and I'll be there to supervise the unloading and loading up on the truck... I'll be taking the camera.
I am sure someone will be there to capture my expression!
I'll let you know when I hear from the customs agent Wisp.
Andrew is not coming across, but will be organising remotely.
I am chasing stuff up locally.
Wisp - Wharfies dont have the keys... so they wont be doing anything with it.
B - As far as I know, customs clear it, the car gets de-containered, checked over etc, loaded onto a truck, taken to get headlamps modded, taken to get LVVTA compliance checked, issued registration, issued a warrant of fitness... then I bugger off for a big long drive (probably past Wisps place)
Alec - definitely will have "the reveal" pics for you.
Max - I dont faint. Girls faint.
I pass out comatose.

It's light enough to push. With two big fellows doing the pushing it would be plenty of fun around the jetty. Brrmm brrmm.
