Great to see you with your baby, finally.
What mileage did the ship's crew put on it hooning around the deck as the manifold looks well blued and the rest of the exhaust is golden as well?

Most relieved to see you think its COOL, would have been very irritating if you did not like it
Re: Its here, its good and its freakin COOL

Glad it's arrived safe and sound. Now who can we take the piss out of whilst they are waiting for their Atom?
Re: Its here, its good and its freakin COOL
Congrats, man! Your joy is obvious and richly deserved after... well, let's forget that part now! Go easy on the accelerator.
Re: Its here, its good and its freakin COOL
Thanks guys!
To be honest - I am packing myself about driving it today (assuming I have insurance when driving on Dealer plates but without WOF, Rego and compliance...)
Slow and smooth and cool... plenty of time for nailing it...

You do know that the consensus of opinion now seems to be 'Drive it like you stole it' don't you?

Oh Man!!!
Talk about frustrating... customs were supposed to arrive at 8:30 this morning to inspect and xray it.
Then I was going to drive it back, to near home, to where the car will have its meet-compliance mods done.
My insurance company had agreed that it would be fine if I drove it with just dealer plates... so I was AMPED!
2:30pm... still no sign of customs... then the call... "our Xray machine is broken, wont be today, or Friday".
ARGH!
Oh well, it was out of its container, so I wheeled it into the yard's warehouse, immobilised it, pulled the batt switch, and then popped the steering wheel off.
Now looking like Monday.

Dude, that just ain't right! Your Customs people sound even worse than what we have to deal with in Cayman. Actually, they've come a long way over the years and are getting to be quite efficient these days. But what you're describing used to be business as usual here.
