Very cool! It's amazing how you were driving for 3 minutes and you passed like one car going the other direction... I miss roads without traffic!

Yes the traffic is not bad, depending on where you are and the time of day. Traffic on major highways and in major centres can be shocking. I think in the whole trip I was momentarily held up behind traffic about half a dozen times. Someone recently referred to New Zealand as the country that is empty.
