What the Thunderbird or my Mk1? Check out the links in my post and you'll see that BRG is a dark dark green like the Mk1. Try RGB 0,66,37.

Following the second one of your links it shows that all the big boys little girls choose the same shade of BRG as you, as seen below.  ;D

They are both mods that were made when the car was in Australia.

The front scoops were done because of the higher (than UK) temperatures and the fact that the radiator on Mk1 cars are mounted on an angle. The metalwork also includes ducting inside the nose cone to concentrate air flow through the radiator.

The lights were altered as part of the attempt to gain Australian compliance for use on the road there. They are a vast improvement on some of the problems I have heard mentioned on the forum. The guards don't get in the way as much. Also the mount is strong and not likely to come loose like a few have that have the standard mounting arrangement.

I notice you have amber reflectors on the side of the lights... reflectors are also required on the road here in canada.

They are actually small indicators (turn signal lamps).

Yes Wisp's Mk1 has big flared nostrils... much like Wisp when you hassle the BRG colour...

I agree they look very good. Wisp is right, they (the Australians) did a fantastic job of the ducting on it!

Rad is only at an angle on very early Mk1 cars
