Something I forgot to bore people with a while ago...
As part of project 'Quick Release Side Panels' - https://www.ariel.club/forum/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=17169 - I also wanted to seal a few more gaps around the side panels.
So back in August, I added some shower tray seals to the top and bottom of the panels -
They have worked well people.
They have plugged that final 5mm gap to reduce water ingress and are mould resistant. Apparently not self cleaning though, which is a shame.
That is all.
Project Shower Drip
Re: Project Shower Drip
Given the number of improvements you’ve made to your Nomad, I think Ariel should employ you to help design the Nomad 2. Either that or you set up an aftermarket outfit selling V Nomads
Re: Project Shower Drip
...the air freshener must be standard though
Re: Project Shower Drip
Ha!
Not sure I'd class it as improvements GraemeW, but thanks for the encouragement.
If anything, I've been dedicating my time to making a gnarly off road animal more suitable for the older, more portly gentleman. Probably not in line with Ariel's target market...
Now if only I could find a way to make the air freshener waterproof yet at the same time fill the air with whiffs of alpine freshness. Maybe I can wrap it a SealSkinz sock. They're breathable, yet waterproof.
Apparently.
