I'm yet to experience driving it during the proper British summer but i imagine it would get quite hot in there. taking the side panels off might be an option but from what i've read it sounds like a pain!

Have you got any pictures of your finished design, Karl? Also, what material did you make it out of??

Yeah, taking the side panels off helps a lot. Putting the panels on again was the killer! I tackled that issue with a mod - viewtopic.php?f=54&t=17169

As for the hat, I added some notes here - viewtopic.php?f=54&t=17151

I'll update the original thread with details of the material I used, just keep all the info in one place.
