The NEXT...South East Breakfast run - 16 June 2019

As we said for the first run on 19 May this would be a monthly event on 3rd Sunday of every month in the Summer months.

After yesterdays meet up at Newlands Corner, and discussing with some of those there, we thought it would be good to vary the destinations each month. We may settle on one in future.

SO for the 16th of June I am proposing the Goodwood motor circuit cafe, Chichester West Sussex, PO18 0PH

Its also known as The Aero Club cafe. I think thats the old name. Its the cafe right next to the circuit, and its a great drive down there. Ive checked they don't have any track event planned on this day. Closer to the time when I know numbers I will call them and let them know we're coming.

They open at 0830 so we can meet at this time?

Yup I'm up for it - although Goodwood is a 40 min drive and I like my lie ins so maybe a bit later...........

One thing to remember is the village before (Halnaker) regularly has Police speed checking and you got from 60 to 30 at each end of it. Be careful.

I'm up for it, but echo [mention]Trigger[/mention]...

It's an hour+ drive for me and given the Dawn Raid is the Sunday before with a 6.30 start in Central London, I may be slightly less grumpy with a later start. I'm in NYC the week between Dawn Raid and Goodwood and the Americans make me cranky, so no guarantees I'll be a bundle of joy whatever time we start ;-)

Also, I think you, me, Dave and Simon are all 'on the way' to Goodwood. Should we plot a convoy from Guiltford / Amazingstoke? Maybe meet up at Fleet Services for coffee and do some twisty roads down South for breakfast?

We can look at a later start but remember those roads fill up and take the joy out of driving on twisty B roads with little or no traffic?

We can work out meeting points closer to the time but assume Alton on A31 or Petersfield on A3? I drive through both on way to Chichester

Next scheduled breakfast meet 23 21st July ....I think we suggested Rykas Cafe at Box Hill for that one. We could do a run down to Brighton as well if peeps are interested. Will start a new topic for it
