I don’t have the Apps Route thingy that you use, I don’t even have a bracket for a phone / sat nav.
Worried about loosing the group.....

Ha ha!

SatNav or no SatNav, the traffic lights can be a PITA, even on empty roads, so there is an increased chance of getting split up.

As such, we've built in 2 or 3 're-group' points along the way, as well as a pit stop about 1/2 way round; so if the worst comes to the worst, folk can head towards the next regroup point.

And at that time of the morning, you should be able to hear the pack screaming, even if you can't see them ;-)

Battersea Park (should be done at about 9am)

As an option afterwards, [mention]Bruce Fielding[/mention] has invited us to The 96 Club Monthly Rendezvous - https://96club.co.uk/club-event/ - location included in the route.

There will be re-grouping points along the way WHEN we get split up, as well as a refuelling stop for coffee and unleaded.

With a couple of bridges, tunnels and some decent straights thrown in for good measure, hopefully there'll be something for everyone!

Some folk are starting to plan meet-up points heading into London on the WhatsApp chatter channel, so if anyone needs in to the chatter group or access to the route, please nudge myself or [mention]GraemeW[/mention].

Hi. You need to apply to join the “Ariel Club Tours” group, then I or Karl approves that and you can see the routes. Alternatively I can invite you. PM me your gmail address or maybe I can find it on your forum details

Daft question.

Since my TomTom rider has finally died.

How do I get the route from MyRoute-app to work on my iPhone? I've logged in, got the route, but I can't get it to work with google maps to give me any directions?

I've never tried, but apparently there is a MyRoute app for Android an iOS. Maybe that'll be the best approach (?)

I'm going to install the Android version and have a play...

Seems the MyRoute app allows you to see the route, but a SatNav it ain't :-(
