22nd-24th June 2018 Midsummer Gas 2018

Less driving, more natter. For when you just want to hookup.

For those of you who aren't on Facebook, here is the link to the photos from Friday's track day at Abingdon Airfield
https://www.ack-photography.co.uk/searc ... allery=105
There are quite a few images (309 to be exact) with Ariels in.
You can narrow it down further by entering Atom (216) or Nomad (106) in the search but you'll still have to sift through quite a few Atoms or Nomads.

Hope the rest of your weekend went well

Adrian

Thank you to everyone who joined us at any point over the weekend! Without you guys this weekend didn't even get started.

Amazing weather, awesome cars and superb company all weekend led to a fantastic time had by all! I am a very happy man this evening (if a bit tired!)

Next year is already being planned so we shall have dates sorted soon hopefully.

I'll happily listen to any feedback of course and look to get more families involved next year too. We'll get an upload area online shortly to get everyone's photos in one place so keep an eye out for that.

Thanks again everyone. Great to see so many faces old and new.

Alex

A big thank you to Alex for arranging clearly a superb weekend. It was great to meet the new Owners and see the longer standing ones again. Sorry I couldnt stay for more of it but next year is in the diary so hopefully I can see you all longer then.

Thank you everyone
Great to meet some of you and a great day was had.
As a suggestion for next time, perhaps a proper track rather than airfield - only because it’s very abrasive there and flicks stones - maybe Castle Combe, Brands or even Bedford?
Great photos too.

Some vids from Abingdon from my YouTube channel. Lots of other Atoms and Nomads in there. I can chop out sections from any off them if you want a little vid of your car on track (as I have done for Alex's spin). Just PM me with the approx. time and which file. :)

Kai, good to see you Friday mate. This has been mentioned and I'm on it already. Castle Combe is the next easiest option in terms of organising with Motorsport Events, but it's more than an hour away from the hotel so would need to know if this is acceptable. Silverstone is a possibility but we won't know until later in the year due to national race calendar. I'll also check out some others locally like Bedford but private hire could be very expensive...leave it with me.

So next year's MSG will be down south again? No scope for it coming further north?
