More pics here: https://www.dropbox.com/l/Af6VmQZYrWojNhqaU1tOwu?

Frame - absolutely lovely

Customisation options - nice to have

Tank - very cool

Rear lights - nice and neat

Pipe options - mean and groovy

Clocks - seen them somewhere before...

...

Headlight - err... wtf?

Mirrors - Halfords?

ACE logo - 80's sci-fi TV show

And the blue and red plastic buttons?

Overall, for me, thumbs up.

I'd want to change the headlight (make it bigger, or twin, or more in keeping with the rest of the bike) and swap the mirrors for billet aluminium ones and remove the logo.

And no wind shield of any type other than what the speedo blocks.

It looks lovely in those pics Bruce....gorgeous carbon and I like the tank enclosed in the frame......very American chopper.

I like the headlight and the logo too.

Cheers Wattie

And it's Honda's V4, which means it has the potential to sound gorgeous with the right pipe.

Like the chassis but I'm not mad on the looks of it in this particular guise - a bit too generic street fighter but that's just my personal view - it looks like a quality bit of kit.

Look forward to seeing some variants based on the chassis though.

£20k+ mentioned on visordown site - hopefully that's not right.

Best of luck to Ariel with it though - exciting times and great to have another British motorbike manufacturer.

Cheers, Ross.

PS.  it wouldn't be an Ariel if Bruce didn't like the headlights..... ;)

I think both bikes look mint but their not going to be cheep like bikes should be. Very exclusive though.
Would I have one NO!,  id have both of them but if it meant going to the dark side and giving up my baby 3 never in a million years. garage space is at a premium in this house hold.

Great to see the company doing well.

just my 2ps worth

Ah, just seen the photos that Bruce uploaded (thanks Bruce!)

I do like it in cruiser guise.  Lovely detailing all round on both bikes.

I wonder how practical that digital dash will be on a bike though when the sun's shining on it.

That dash really needs an interface designer to take a look at it. It's a sorry piece of information design for 2014. It belongs in the 1980s. I really don't like it on my 3.5.

Could do with being an OLED screen rather than LCD (which is what I believe it is).

Hence why it looks like an LCD watch from 1981.  ;)

Disappointed Bruce - it doesn't even spell BOOBS when you turn it upside down....

Interesting comment.  I have in my mind a new dash design that would knock that one into a cocked hat.  The problem as I see it is the main players don't really have any competition in the dash market so have been a bit lazy.  That and getting a daylight readable colour display is a big ask......

I love the look of the cruiser version - but it comes down to price point I suppose for me.
