Nothing much planned...Thai meal tomorrow and a trip into London on Tuesday on the cards.

If you're in town during the day tomorrow, I'd be delighted to meet up and show you around my home town a little...

Bruce,

Plan is definitely  to head to the big smoke tomorrow....chances are I'll get dragged around shops etc....etc nothing like a big post competition shopping spree to round off an event nicely- apparently.

We'll be having lunch etc so if you pm me your number we'll bell you and let you know where we are and perhaps meet for a drink.

Cheers Wattie

What kills me is when people say..."but I've got no time". That's after they've spent the past 2 hours surfing the web, and watching TV for 2 hours before that.
Anyone can do this, all it is is a lifestyle change. Forget diets....they don't work.
Keep up the good work mate.

Completely agree, it's making the initial effort to get off your bum and break that habit that's the hardest!
Thanks for the nice words, will pass em on to Kel.

Forget diets....they don't work
People confuse diets with good nutrition. Without a decent nutritionist's advice you're buggered.

You can go an awfully long way to achieving your goals with decent nutrition - even without any exercise.

How you coping? The Atom and the Multipla gone?
Agree re the diet /  nutrition point. Diet's are a pain in the arrus and I believe in a Mars a day
Might be something to do with the fact I'm a fat tw#t!
Ciao
Keep smiling!!
Bang on Hedge...having both competed we reckon at least 80% of it is diet related!

You could be onto something.  I have been to the gym on average every 1.5 days this year yet still have a fine beer belly.  However I have not changed my diet as I am quite fond of unhealthy foods.  Might try some salad for a few weeks to see what happens.

Fair point!  A yard of wine after a game would put even a drinker of Bens calibre on his backside  ;D

Well we're back home after a really enjoyable trip.

Drama to the end.....10 mins from landing and there's the most awful smell of burning in the cabin.  At first there's a faint smell....and it gets stronger and stronger.....rubbery...acrid, people start looking at each other and around the cabin...then the crew can be heard "Can you smell that?" Mutterings, ping, ping of crew to cockpit....

Then we're on the ground and surrounded by 5 fire engines...as we taxi up the runway to an isolated part of the airport......announcement....

"Apologies for the smell L&G, I think we hit a flock of birds that went in the engine intake.....and it's affected the A/c.....thank you for flying.........?

Didn't smell like roasted wood pigeon to me!!!!
(wouldn't like to be on the return flight)

Anyway, to something else sizzling hot.....Great result Kel!

Oh, cos i know you lot, "Miami Pro" is not some sort of escort service!!!!

Went shopping afterwards in London as it's apparantly a necessary part of post competition wind down.  Ended up in this fab rather exclusive club in the heart of the city. Great food, ambiance, wine and the club members were really really friendly.....in fact after I disappeared off to the loo one of the suave members got chatty with Kel.

Seemed a very nice bloke (with a few interesting stories to tell  :o)
