Stew,

All go now so best wishes for the future :tu: ... onwards and upwards as they say
I have not experience of franchises or snap-on tools or even tools for that matter :D so good luck with it all.

Stew,
Best of luck to you. It's a scary journey to leave a "steady" job and become a business owner but it's path you will never regret. I applaud your commitment and hope you make a fortune!

Snap On stuff is very expensive but it's the best set of tools money can buy. Your not selling price, your selling quality and long term value. There is always a market for quality and value so you will do fine. Just keep your eye on your target market, keep the faith and work your arse off and it will all "magically" work out  :-*

Chuffed to bits for you. It’s always exciting starting a new project, but, knowing you’ll nail it doesn’t spoil the jitters.

Enjoy!

May the economic climate change, the motor industry thrive and your local garages all be motivating their staff to have good quality tools in big shiny new Snap-On chests! and roll cabs ;D

Kind Comments Gents!  :tu:

Also learned that ill be getting an already established round in my home town! (established 2 yrs & on target for average turnover)  :tu: :tu:  and one of my garages on my route/round is my old haunt...Honda Doncaster!!!  might take my camera for when they see me pull up in a brand new Van  :H:

Any advice for travelling to USA? - just got my ESTA to sort and an adapter for the plugs.
might book the lounge @heathrow to pass a few hours on the comfy chairs and tinternet.
also got a few other soon to be Franchisees that ill hook up with so i wont be alone thank heavens.

onwards and upwards

Stew

Best of luck with your new venture, exciting times.

As for travelling to the US, ESTA and power adaptor and you are set.  Be honest when you are interrogated by immigration and tell them you are there for a work training course and all will be well.

Loads to do in Terminal 5 without paying for a lounge, spend the money on an exit row seat on the plane.

My final travel to the US tip is stay up until AT LEAST 10PM on the first night to largely avoid jet lag.

Enjoy

good on you stew

only advice i would have is the old cliched ones........ but they are true

the harder you work...... the luckier you get

throw enough sh1t at the wall and some of it will stick

oh yes

one slip of the tongue and your in the sh1t

not so sure about the last one but good luck !
