After frequenting a photography forum for a few years now and buying a few items to compliment my Nikon glass collection - I thought I would look for an upgrade to a zoom lens I have....to my surprise I found a chap selling the very item I was after...we had a chat and he said he was going into hospital for some follow up tests and he could swing by and let me see the lens on his travels ....I contacted him just 3 days later and no reply ....I found out 2 days after he had passed away. Apparently he was in his early 50's and had retired.
Still very odd looking at the string of pm's we had together discussing the merits of the newer version of the lens..
Seize the day! and be ready should your time be up!
