Atom (and Nomad) tech specs required

Post by keithwrjones » Mon Feb 19, 2024 10:57 am

Good morning all

I'll endeavour to keep this concise, but from the outset I want to be clear I'm not directly selling a product to any of you, but I am trying to source Atom and Nomad technical specs data and I wondered if I could be pointed in the direction of someone who could help?

I work for UK Vehicle Data - as the name suggests we provide a range of vehicle data products to businesses rather than end-user consumers. In some regards, we offer similar services to long-established firms such as CAP and Glass's, but at an even more granular level.

My role is to produce the most comprehensive database of car technical specifications available, for instance, and to do that justice. Two years into the project and after concentrating primarily on volume manufacturers, I want to focus now on specialist marques, which are usually overlooked by other automotive data companies. I want the project I'm working on to be the most detail-rich in the industry.

So far I have pored over previous iterations of Ariel's websites using Way Back Machine, but that only reveals so much, creating gaps in continuity, particularly over years where WBM has no displayable record of what the site was like on given dates. Some gaps may be inevitable, but I'd prefer to keep them to a minimum if they can't be completely eradicated.

What would be ideal for me is if there's an archive of PDF sales brochures and price lists covering every 'standard' Atom and Nomad variant, showing key standard and optional features that I could access. And yes, I appreciate 'standard' is a very vague term when it comes to most models from specialist manufacturers.

However, if that's not possible, but you have alternative suggestions as to how I could access the data, then I'm more than happy to work with what's available.

Many thanks in advance for any assistance any of you you are able to give - I look forward to hearing back from you in the near future.

Best regards

Keith

I would suggest the only place for that would be the Ariel Factory. Suggest you give them a call

Not to be rude, but you are asking free help so that you can sell the information you glean here. Would the wonderful forum members that help you receive free access to the product? If not, I suggest you reach out to Ariel and strike a deal on how much this information is worth and pay for it. Corporates that take community sourced work, put it into their product and then sell it is nothing new in the Internet age (and before).
