Fuel gauge again!

Yesterday my fuel gauge was reading 0 and the 'low fuel' red lights were continuously flashing all the time up/down hills, on the flat and round bends (both left and right).

So decided to refuel, although I didn't believe the display, when I pulled into the petrol station the red lights were solid - continuously on!

Refueled - it actually only took 24.7 litres to fill the tank so with 0 indicated and solid 'low fuel' lights there was actually over 15 litres left in the tank!!

Anybody (with a 3 series) managed to get their fuel gauge to be more accurate?

This is exactly how the Atom 4 gauge is. I understand it is done deliberately so that people don't starve the engine of fuel when cornering hard on track

What Phil says, this IS accurate by Ariel standards. You can rely on it to say empty every time at this point.
They dont want you to hoon until further than that, I even heard Ariel suggests on track to stay above 25%

Haha, 25% then refuel!! That’s like three laps. Ive run mine (accidentally) down to -16% and still only managed to put 30l in the tank!

You can go to minus 40%

ive been to -10% a few times but it does give me range anxiety - i wish it read what the actual % was with a little leeway like normal and that the advice was dont go below 25% (or whatever it needs to be)
