Show Us Your Helmet

Some of you will know that I don't wear a helmet in my Atom on the road. That said, I've started doing more and more track work so obviously had a need, and I struggled to find something I really liked - so I had one designed based on a Bell GP3 that I bought. I wanted something that was in keeping with my Gulf stickered up orange panelled and grey framed Atom - but without the usual baby blue traditional Gulf theme. Just need to get a smoked visor to finish it off - but here's the result by the incredibly talented RichArtConcepts. So happy with it.

Nice helmet the gp3. Do you know what the difference is between the GTX.3 and the GP3? They both have carbon fibre options.

Very nice paint job, I can't decide whether to get a carbon lid or matt and get it painted... I don't like the feeling of a heavy helmet which is why I am thinking about the carbon one but they do cost alot more. I did notice in the US the carbon helmets are are $999 so maybe I'll get one from there.

I went with the Roof Boxxer Carbon, in metallic Yellow with an iridium silver (mirrored) visor.

I just got a new helmet to use in my Atom 4. Arai GP6 S. The Arai's seem to fit small heads that are more oval/egg shapped!

I will get it painted as it looks bland in black. The carbon fibre version of this is £3k! so decided not to go for that.

Tbh in the summer, I might go without if I’m just out for a quick blast - but always with ski goggles!
