John your car looks very tidy, do you have the original guard mounts on it, the reason I ask is that my MK 1's (the other car as I am lucky enough to have a molecule!) guards need a dose of viagra to keep them tight. Do you have a quick fix for that? Also the Mk 1 indicator park light stalks are a pain to keep tight and a pain to tighten when they do work loose, any remedy for that?  Mine has the cooling ducts like yours in the nose cone too. I agree they are well done.

The repowering of the Mk 1 is going a little slow the Type R engine is in place but and am now sourcing new Axles. Think I may use Hondata for the ECU setup and take it to 245bhp. I sold the 180 hp Rover engine for half what I paid for the Honda Engine to a guy who is repowering his MG for racing.
Enjoy Atomising.

The Ferret.

PR,

My guards are pretty good although I did sheer a cap screw on one of them, on a long trip, and came home with it in the passenger foot well. You can really tighten mine up hard, which is probably not possible if yours are 100% fiberglass. I seem to recall mention of mine having a metal edge in the glass but I can not be sure.

Keep us posted on the transplant. @$%!&, I could have done with a spare Rover engine. I would like to keep mine original in that respect, but may tweak it at some stage.
