Cheers Bruce
Great link
Final question - the refurbs look great but look to be the basic models i.e. non widescreen and no TMC.
Is TMC worth it (used to be pretty poor years ago) and could he upgrade one of these basic models to include TMC?

Thank you Bruce - i can see there is a phone number
I was just seeking independent recommendations re TMC which i'm unlikely to get from a retailer

Re: Tom Tom advice
I have never seen TMC actually work - the Audi has it but it does nothing. I cant see where I would use it anyway if i am honest - so ignored it. But then I dont use the Satnav for commuting etc - just for the odd trip abroad mainly.

Re: Tom Tom advice
Think some of the higher end ones do traffic updates over GPRS / Bluetooth, might be worth thinking about might be called Tom Tom live or similar
