...and we hope that is ok. I was actually looking for information on 3 wheel motorcycles and ran across this site and though it looked interesting and maybe their are others on here that can help us out. We both ride our own Harley Davidson and we love it, however I have recently thought about adding a 3 wheel bike to our fleet. At his point, my husband has no interest in the 3 wheel idea so maybe you can change his mind. Additionally, we have never had any off road equipment and I must say it looks like a blast. We are both getting older (he 60 / me 54) so the idea of having more than 2 wheel under us is inviting for me. I have never had a "control" issue however with my age and the fact that I am only 5'1", 105# and more tits than muscle, each year it becomes more of an issue. My husband says if we need 4 wheels we can take one of our corvettes, however he has agreed to consider making a change. BTW, we would never give up the bikes completely.
Additionally, this looks like a great site to get into some interesting conversations whether it is motor sports or not. We both travel a lot for our jobs (sales) so having a place to come and talk to likeminded people would be great.
Anyway, feel free to send us your comments or questions or anything to help us out on the above and we will try to let you know which one of us is answering you. Have a Great Day!!!

Hi, Welcome to the Ariel Club.
In case weren't aware, we're here mostly because we're big fans of Ariel's vehicles, they do three main variants:
- The Atom - A race car for the road, only carrying what's really needed, and really rather rapid.
- The Nomad - A similar pared back philosophy to the Atom, but designed more as an offroad rally car.
- The Ace - Some of the signature elements from the Atom in a motorbike form.
A good place to start would be: https://www.arielmotor.co.uk/
None of the above intentionally come as 3 wheelers, though if you lose one from the top two...
In all honesty, you'd have better luck on the general car/motorsport etc stuff over at https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/ as while we all like cars/bikes/motorsport, most of the forum and it's focus is the 3 Ariel vehicles mentioned above. That said feel free to ask questions and we'll help where we can.

Re: My husband & I are sharing this profile...
Although not made by Ariel, there is a 3 wheeler that is at least called Ariel - well Ariel 3 actually (see what they did there?) - made by BSA.weareacouple wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 3:25 pm I have recently thought about adding a 3 wheel bike to our fleet. I've not owned one myself, but maybe something worth looking in to?
I know the feeling! I've spent many evenings in hotel rooms around the world over the years and have often been grateful for forums such as this one to shoot the breeze and pass the time.weareacouple wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 3:25 pm Additionally, this looks like a great site to get into some interesting conversations whether it is motor sports or not. Some of the forums you guys visit seem quite varied, focusing on religion, politics and dating. Glad to hear that our little forum has attracted your attention too; I'm sure you will bring a certain pizzazz.
Out of interest though, how did you get banned from so many forums so quickly? The track record is admirable.

There is a lot of lively debate on this forum and you would both be very welcome, but the real juicy stuff is in the Members Only area.
Maybe we could convince you to join as a full member to get access to these parts of the forum?
Until then, maybe it is best not to post any more pictures on here eh?
Best wishes.

Re: My husband & I are sharing this profile...
Thanks everyone for the information, but my husband is telling me that me that the Ariel brand is only available in the UK and over our budget, however they look like they are a ton of fun. Is my husband right or wrong and in what price range are they?
Re: My husband & I are sharing this profile...
Hiya,
Over in the US they're made by (under license) TMI Autotech... their site is here: http://www.tmiautotech.com/
Prices appear to be $74,750 and upwards for an Atom, and $80,000 and up for a Nomad
Your husband may be correct as I understand registering them can be difficult in some states.
Hope that helps.

Phil, do you mean I have to admit to my husband that he is right about something? LOLphil4 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2020 2:19 pm Hiya,

Nevertheless, after inspecting the website and a phone call, the Ariel is probably not our best choice. I think my husband feels like he will no longer be "manly" if he gives up his (2 wheel) Harley (no offense, but you men can be like that you know).
Re: My husband & I are sharing this profile...
Hi, I'm not really familiar with the fun and games of owning a car in the US, as I'm UK based. As such, yes he could well be right. But if you didn't want to concede that simply, Ariel's area available in the USA (through TMIAutotech), so you won't lose that argument simply.
I get your thinking on choice, they're quite pricey (they start at the equivalent of $52,000 for an Atom over here, though there will be differences in exact spec).

Re: My husband & I are sharing this profile...
There are people in this country that would love to ban a vehicle if it is not electric, but yea, it wouldn't take too long to be pulled over by one of our great highway patrols. However, maybe a couple of unbuttoned buttons would get me out of it again. As a democratic forum I think we should simply vote to ban these people. Look at some of the other links, pretty vile sh1t from this masturbating American teenager.
