Hello from France
Re: Hello from France
A few upgrades :
Fog + plate lighting (still missing the reverse light, and a 3rd brake light) :
It's a Led rain light, that i use as fog light, with a small led plate lighting hidden under.
____________
Also, i needed an iPhone support to have Nav and speed controls alerts, so i draw one with Autodesk Fusion, 3D printed 4 or 5 times to have the perfect fitment, and :
Just slide it in, and it does not move : perfect

Re: Hello from France
I had troubles since a month with the engine misfiring at high load/rpm, and going fine after,
so i began by changing the spark plugs : same problem
then, i realised a was low on fuel, so i topped, and same problem,
then, i changed the fuel filter : same problem
And a week after, the problem was more present, it was sometimes putting the car in error mode, no power, no revs : i had to switch off/switch on and if was running fine, for a few minutes, ...
So i decided to change the 4 coils (i have a spare K20a2 engine, so easy to swap parts/sensors) : same problem
I swapped the Map sensor : same problem
I swapped the throttle position sensor : same problem
So i decided to install the OBD kit i bought a month ago (i should have begin with this...), it was very easy (a 30min job).
And the OBD told me that the crank position sensor was faulty, so i swapped it :
The engine is now running perfectly
The lesson here is to install the OBD kit before trying to change all engine sensors

Re: Hello from France
One month after, it's not so simple
It seems that my loom is faulty, not the sensor.
I guess the sensor swapping resolved the issue for a moment since we touched the loom.
I will try to fix the loom or swap it (i have a spare K20A2 full wiring loom, and it seems that Ariel did not modify that loom, so i should try to swap it).
