Soon to be new owner

Post by Tommycupra » Tue Nov 08, 2016 4:56 pm

Hello everyone,

Just put a deposit down on a supercharged atom 3, so soon to be new owner.

Can't wait to pick it up, was by far the fastest car I've been in!
What a machine!

From Maidstone in Kent so would be good to meet up with a few other owners if there's any nearby.
I've had a fair few "fast" cars from Impreza's to remapped cupras, the atom is my first track focussed car and
Am very much looking forward to doing track days in it!

Regards
Tom

Hi Tom, welcome to the asylum :)

So go on, tell us the spec :)

Hopefully see you around the other side of this miserable weather.

Thanks, it's a supercharged Atom 3 with Alcons, has a windscreen which I'm not a fan of so that's getting removed.
It's red at the moment but is getting the nose cone and engine cover done in white.

Will have to wait a while for some dry weather I guess to drive it :-(

Welcome Tommy, great to have another owner on the list!

I used to be a Rochester boy and tend to get back to Brands a few times a year with Pete255 so it would be good to meet up there at some point. It's always good to get the beauty out in the winter but just go easy. Better to get the wheel turning than being sat there all winter!

You'll find plenty of useful stuff on here over the coming months and any question please ask! If you want a real introduction to the club, feel free to join us at the Christmas party in a few weeks time on the 3rd. New owners always welcome of course. PM if you need more info.

All the best.

Alex

Took mine out for the first time in weeks yesterday. It was mild but the roads were still damp form the day before. 60% throttle off of a roundabout and the back of my car was trying to whip the oncoming traffic. Lost confidence after that! Maybe I need some winter tyres  ::)
