Newbie living the dream, near Heathrow

Post by Lord Studley » Sun Apr 12, 2015 10:28 pm

Took delivery of my 3.5 245 on 31st March 2015 and loving it. Nothing I can say that hasn't already been said. Almost perfected my 37 point turn. Lol. Anyone near Heathrow for drives out?

Lots of London owners, I am Chiswick. There is a run to Brighton at the end of the month, a dawn raid on a Sunday coming up, normally meet Heston eastbound and drive through London.

Brittany 7th may.

Atomic Mass in September.

All events are on this Forum.

If you want to organise something just create a post, hopefully you will get some takers now the weather is changing.

Look forward to seeing you soon.

Regards

Julian

Cheers everyone. Booked up for atomic mass and will look out for the dawn raid coming up but unfortunately I one of these poor buggers that work Saturdays! I see your green atom at the factory on one of my visits. Originally I was going orange with matching mud guards but saw yours and changed my mind. I think if everyone changes the spec list as much as I did then Tom should be knighted! Lol.

Welcome welcome.

I think as someone eluded to when I bought mine, it's almost certain you'll change your spec once ordered.

I think Ariel are probably hoping you'll order more.  So go on, what was your final spec?  :)

I imagine he doesn't pay any heed to the first go you have at the spec, as months went by and work kept paying me bits kept getting added, glad my car colour converted you :)

I would have had the chassis green but couldn't afford it, next time maybe

Would of ticked everything other than the crude subject of cash (well maybe not the 22000 gear box)

Big brakes front
Sport brakes rear
16" wheels with track/road tyres
2 x worlds smallest screens lol
S/s fittings

And of coarse, cig lighter!

Will super charge one day but finding this more than enough to get my head round!
Can someone help me with the dates for the London Dawn Raid, can only find the march one?

Welcome to the Club.

The March Dawn Raid was bumped due to the inclement weather. I can cope with cold but not wet!

Woodsypedia suggested a new date of 3 May, however some of us are off to Goodwood for Supercar Sunday so I don't know when it may happen? Soon hopefully!

Another Chris by any chance - CR15 !

Yep, another Chris. Good news if there are loads of Chris,s as I'm crap with names. Will keep an eye out for the revised dawn run. I'm not a lover of getting wet either, had 30 years on the motorbikes for that!

If you want to meet some members do the Goodwood breakfast club on the 3rd. If you can't display your car, go and park with other people, car will be safe as houses, bacon roll, and a chat.
