New Atom Acquisition - The Great North East
New Atom Acquisition - The Great North East
Have just taken delivery of my first Ariel Atom, only been out up the dale a couple of times, lets hope the weather is kinder than its been lately.
Any other Atom Club members local to me, if so when the chance arrises would welcome a run out ..

Where abouts in the north east are you from? Congrats on the new purchase.
Re: New Atom Acquisition - The Great North East
Welcome Craig
I came through Barnard Castle a fortnight ago having done Hartside Moor on my way to Ravenstonedale. Fantastic roads we have around us.
Get some thermals and get out and about but watch it in the wet.
Probably next spring now but we should have a molecule - maybe meet at Hartside? There is another Atom in Cumbria now so I shall see if I can track him down and both come along and there are a few in striking distance of you on the East side of the Pennines.
All the best
Mark

Re: New Atom Acquisition - The Great North East
Thanks for the quick response.
Ive heard their is a couple of AA owners close to us at West Auckland and one at Toft Hill.
Strangely enough I was up at Hartside Cafe myself on the weekend (the day that was really nice) about three weeks ago trying to keep up with the bikers Travelling up Weardale in my 1968 TR6... should be able give them a run for their money now.
Would welcome meeting up when we get chance.

Re: New Atom Acquisition - The Great North East
Can you search the forum for members by location, would be a great way to track down our AA community?
Re: New Atom Acquisition - The Great North East
If you can, John Scherrer will be the man that knows how.
There is a map somewhere but think it is out of date

Re: New Atom Acquisition - The Great North East
Hi Craig,
Im offshore at the moment but ill be around from the 6th of next month, so if the weathers better( worst storm for 26 years is over) well catch up.
Im in Gosforth ne35rg. 07974152868. 44 miles up the road.
we have some of the best roads going for the atom( don't shout about it keep it to your self or they'll all want a bit of the action.)
take it easy

I like the colour scheme. Nice to see a few people opting for bespoke colours.
