2006 Atom 245 for sale (sold)
Re: 2006 Atom 245 for sale
For some reason, the allan bolts holding on the calipers on all the wheels have surface rust. This indicates to me that they were not properly plated by the supplier, or that an inferior black oxide treatment was used. Equally annoying is that I paid extra for the stainless steel package, so I would assume that Brammo would not have used this type of cheaply coated bolt. Whomever buys this car may wish to spend $30 on a set of stainless bolts to tidy up the wheels.

I bet some Meguair's scratch-x and a soft foam pad would take out that scratch on the nose

Damn, I would be so all over this if I could register it in my state. Idaho sucks. Does it have a Cat?

Flowmaster Cat comes with car, in a separate box, not installed.

The stainless option is mostly for the trim hardware and not for the structural parts. It is rather hard (no pun intended) to get stainless steel fasteners in Grade 8 strength.
However... It looks like your car was built with the incorrect SPM/SPB rod ends that are prone to failure. Did you receive the recall notice from Brammo?

It was my understanding that MOST stainless hardware IS Grade 8. I have a friend that is in that business, I'll give her a call tomorrow and find out.

Yes, those are among the upgrades sent from Brammo, and are included in the "Goodie Bag". Since I never really used the car, I didn't bother to put them on.

Per request, I've taken pictures of the "goodie bag". First picture shows, Owner's manual, certificate of origin, extra keys, drive train installation instructions, wrenches for adjustable shocks.

Next picture shows cat, and car cover. I have not tried to install the cat - it was sent to me directly from Brammo, so I assume it's the right one.
Re: 2006 Atom 245 for sale
did you open the box? what if they accidentally sent you a pile of gold?
Re: 2006 Atom 245 for sale
Last picture shows 5 upgrades with instructions: tie rods, dashboard, running lights, radiator tube protector, and a zip-tie, which I think was supposed to be installed to keep some lines away from the harmonic balancer.
Re: 2006 Atom 245 for sale
Even more stuff that's clogging up my warehouse included in the sale: seat cushions and side boards.
Re: 2006 Atom 245 for sale
That's a certificate of origin. Big difference.
I wonder if my Ma.car dlr. plate is recognized in Ca. Hmm...

You are absolutely correct. As specified in my very first post, car comes with and Oregon Certificate of Origin, not a certificate of title. thanks for catching the error. I have made the necessary change to the above post.
