Atom 2 body panel prices.
Atom 2 body panel prices.
Good morning all. I have an Atom 2 that is 11 years old so there are a few minor stone chips on a couple of my panels. I'm just wondering if anyone has an idea of cost for new ones, or has anyone had any succesful repairs carried out. Any advice would be great thanks.

Childs play for a body shop - the panels are made of very similar stuff to what they would be repaired with so IF you are going to get the panels painted then its just a basic part of prep in the painting to repair any pops or chips in the Gel-coat with an appropriate filler......No need to buy new panels for some stone chips

Re: Atom 2 body panel prices.
Or get it 3m di noc wrapped?
Do some nice colours and carbon fibre effects - even orange/white with carbon weave etc and it's easy to apply if you have a little patience.
looked nice on watties old car.

Re: Atom 2 body panel prices.
It did indeed Stew, but I'd now go for one of those carbon " dips"
They look even better.

Re: Atom 2 body panel prices.
Most of the dips are semi transparent so require a colour base coat - suppose if it was only stonechips and providing they weren't massive it would work. Trouble is ideally you would clear coat/lacquer over the pattern to seal it in.
dip & clear coat is more expensive and time consuming.
I could wrap a bonnet in 1-2hrs maybe less but then again I've done it a good few times.
A strip of Di noc for the bonnet would be about £25 and can be applied using a hairdryer & an old bank card.
The bonnet would be easy due to its even/symetrical & slightly convex shape ....The air intake however a fair bit more difficult.
