Very strange Atom advert

Post by l33haw » Thu Jul 26, 2012 7:37 pm

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/4099232.htm

I like "this vehicle was damaged when it was a couple of weeks old as most of them have !"

"Most" by deffenition is over 50%, say a conservative 900 Atoms sold to date, that's 450 Atoms damaged in first couple of weeks! this really is an epidemic!

Front engined and front wheel drive, if that is the case I am not sure they repaired it right.

@ l33haw
o.k. I admit and can frankly state, that I was one of those fools.
but it was just a slight scratch and it wasn't my fault

@ Richard Marler

But at least it should be easier to handle now  ;D

Maybe it was damaged because it had the "race break pack".

There's a for sale advert on pistonheads which states the Atom has been to the Aerial factory for a service too!

One could say 'isn't that uncommon' rather than most.

As he says no chassis damage so unlikely to have been a write off, therefore why mention it above all the other things to say about an Atom?

Non factory repair perhaps?

Well, I've studied the info contained in this advert and it could be worse.

The cars had 3 previous owners, been crashed and none are reported deceased.

Positive proof of a safe vehicle I would say.

Comes with a free day's tuition with an 'ex-F1 diver' apparently. For the day you drive it into the Thames.
First Atomised 2001.
Atom (165) > Atom 2 (220) > Atom 3 (300) > Atom 3.5 (310) > Atom 4 (350).
There is no cure.

I don't buy any of it to be honest. Who would sell an Atom with such inaccurate info, no picture, bad spelling, odd statements, and that for that little money? If the chassis is fine and its been repaired with origional parts then it's worth more than £25k.

All most odd - If you checkout his PistonHeads profile and follow some of his posts and look at his 'garage' he runs a car workshop maintaining race cars and supercars and has 3 lambos plus a couple of other exotica !

They have put the seats the wrong way round then -  and now have one forward gear and 5 reverse gears and even less aerodynamic - with the pointy end at the back..... ;D
