Ferrari BLACK
Ferrari BLACK
I'm not a big fan of red cars, so Ferrari isn't my number one choice, but this one looks great in Black.
OK, it's got a bit of red on it but the contrast looks good.

Re: Ferrari BLACK
It looks like it has lipstick on! It just needs a pair of false eyelashes over the lights.

If I won the lottery the second thing after ordering an Atom would be to commission one of their XJ13's.

Re: Ferrari BLACK
In some cases, although not as valuable, a fake is better than the original. At least as a driver. More modern electronics, engine management, brakes, suspension all can be improved upon. Those forms show they are at least making the panels like the originals (hand hammered and rolled aluminium).

What are you on? Remind me not to take them...
Better than the original? Sounds familiar somehow...
Seriously, you have just missed the entire point of classic racing...

Re: Ferrari BLACK
You totally missed my point. I wasn't talking about classic racing. I was talking about a street driven car. The modern AC Cobra for example. Much better suspension, brakes etc... And even then, maybe they build their copies/clones close enough to the originals they meet the criteria to be raced in a classic series...

I think you've missed the point... The point is that the car that's the subject of this thread is a racing car. It's not meant for going to get pizza or taking the kids out to the leisure centre...
Anyone ripping off a racing car and rebuilding it as an SUV needs help...
edit from Driver: I hit modifiy not quote, I've put back the original post.. Sorry

Then why the obvious cutout in the rear bodywork for a LICENSE PLATE? And with 250's a lot of them are road going GT vehicles. Only thing written I find is that the TR (racing version) had a more powerful engine than the GT (grand touring) versions. Nowhere until your last post was the word "racing" used, and nowhere did it state the car was to be used in a classic racing series. You assumed that you brought it into the discussion. I assumed he wanted a stylish car he could drive day to day that wasn't the equivalent of taking 8 million dollars out where some idiot in a $500 Tercel could crash into it. I may not be up on all the Ferrari lore but unless you KNOW the guy who commissioned this one you can only speculate on the rest.
