Oh dear Bruce, you're taking your lines from Jeremy Clarkson... ;)

early 911, don't know enough about them to guess details, but I don't think it looks like an RS.

I'm with Ben - though I guess I have a bit of insider knowledge  ;D

Glad you got one at last.

Right year Ben, but it's a T.  Finding an E was proving to be very hard and I've learnt that it's more about the condition and history than the spec (ignoring the S, RS etc which are now silly prices).  This one came up at a decent price and seems to be in very good condition so I bagged it quick.  I may try and pick up another 2.4 engine at some point to rebuild and tune while leaving this one as original as possible.

Not quite as quick as the Atom but not as slow as I thought it would be given that it's now 35 years old.  Certainly interesting to drive, sounds like you're being chased by a giant pissed off sewing machine!  Here's a couple more pics that the previous owner took.

Cheers, Ross.

Not a bad efford considering the semi dark pic !

Really nice looking car and I imagine great fun to drive, whist being less powerful than the Atom also much less grip I should expect.

Why such a older one? Cheaper to insure? Nostalgia? You wanted the air cooled one? ???

I almost bought a 67 911 S model once, 20 years or so ago, but the guy got greedy at the last minute and jacked the price way up.

Isn't the sterring wheel on the wrong side? ;D ;D

Nice car. Looks to be well kept and original. :tu: :tu: Is that carburetted or FI.?

Looks lovely. What's the official name/code for the blue, Ross? I'm doing a bit of research for when the time comes to spec my 3.

Ask the factory - they sprayed Nick Wright's first Atom that colour, I believe...

The T is carburetor

The E & S are FI
