Anyone see 'Car' magazine this month.  Good trick 'driving' the grey car given that it's a mock up.

Has the club put it's order in yet Bruce?

Quite nippy. Think the figures are Caparo's though. No independant verification.

Oh well, to open the discussion again

where does this car sit and what are its competitors?  Those are mega performance figures - but would you just be better off buying a reliable F3 or similar for track use?

Jon, at £200k I reckon you've hit on a good alternative.  I can't imagine that a T1 will ever get much road use, and you seem to be able to pick up a reasonable single seater race car fot £10k or so.  Still, it won't have 0-100-0 in less than 8s.

just go for a Noble M15 or a Prodrive...

Practical everyday supercar...

That prodrive is a piece of shite, if it ever happens - whos going to buy such an ugly mother car - maybe the same people that bought that MG monster/ dog?

I haven't looked up F3 cars or similar but i wouldn't mind betting its a better package on circuit.  as for road use - no way can you use the T1 on the road - that bit is a joke - except for people that live in Dubai

Oh here we go some lovely F3 cars

Hmmm, £22k doesn't sound bad - lets say £10k per 10 events running costs - bargain!

well the F3 cars are only producing circa 220bhp @ circa 500kg so circa 440bhp/ ton

The aim has to be to get 500bhp in a smallish lightweight and reliable engine - then get it in a decent chassis

I can't help but think the T1 is just so flawed in so many ways - funny - its in the new Project Gotham Racing game - oh dear  ::)
