Two seater, open race car, but @ STG 49k+ to start and very possibly 3500 lbs + I was thinking it could not
be considered an "Atom alternative" functionally.

This is a more of a Vintage replica.
Maybe then you could suggest a Cobra is an Atom alternative.
In terms of attracting the funds from s.o. who's into cars, perhaps it IS a potential competitor.
Like a small single engined 'plane is a potential alternative.
Or a brace of Breitlings.

Good point. It's not an Atom competitor.

Wow, dingo, are you psychic or something?  Just look at this photo of the Hulme F1 taken at the Goodwood Festival of Speed:

They are even the same color: McLaren racing orange!

The two cars are definitely competitors of each other, if not the Atom! :-)

Oooh !  See what I see?
Who needs CF fenders when you can mimic crossply tyre tread on the fenders!

I repeat.

OOOhhh!

Haha, those fenders are cool.  That would be a good style windshield for those that need one to register.

I don't think that wrap around windscreen is very safe. With a helmet, perhaps it's OK.
I could just imagine a side impact sending ones' head into the top bead.

Curtains. Fava beans and a nice chianti comes to mind for some reason. Ah no, that was liver, come to think of it.
Someone help me out on this ? The FBI agent \ Hannibal \ warm meninges..Uh oh ! I'm going to fain.............

I love that car, it would look great in the garage next to the Atom, now if the controls were only on the proper side.

It's made in Brazil.

Apparently it has a thin strip of carpet running down the transmission tunnel...

This was literally a cardboard cut out it didn't even have an engine!  They were (I assume still are) looking for investors.

If you mean the gear stick I think it is if you follow the link and look at the photos.

Strathcarron's back - and this time it's Honda powered!

It's called the Javan R1 and it's made in Cornwall.

This was also at the Festival of Speed, but just a prototype tucked away in the trade stands.  I chatted to the chap and wished him luck.  Since it made practically at Lands End, I wonder how they will get people there for a test drive.  Its quicker to get to Paris than to Lands End.  It amy even be quicker to get to Lyon.
