you should look on all the mods made by KTM on its new R in particular for the rear chassis, it's not something you can do on a normal XBow, it's now a real different car.
And it's not on a video that i can see technical mods made on "normal" XBow ;)
Of course i'm not discussing here of all personnal mods you can do on a car, but mods or option made by factories. Atom with 650 hp already exists ... even if they are undrivable ! ;D

What?  ??? Every single modification of the R version could be upgraded!  :wize:
And of course I'm not only talking about company car options, but modifications.

Anyway, I didn't want to discuss that. I just wanted to make you to think outside the box. Atom is a nice car, but I cannot imagine that it is a better trackday car than the X-Bow.

no you can't modify the rear chassis from a "old" XBow to a new R, the engine is about 20 mm lower and the chassis itself is totaly different...
Trackday : to compare XBow/Atom "out of the box", the only one you can compare is the new Xbow R, no comparaison possible with the "old" Xbow.  ;)

You wanted to come to the Atom Owners Forum just to tell us that you think the X-Bow is a better track day car than the Atom? Right or wrong that just makes you a troll.

This is the X-Bow thread, isn't it?
And there was one day, where I had to decide between Atom and X-Bow and entered this forum.
Now I saw the BAC Mono and thought I could look what you guys think about it.

After seeing what you guys wrote about the X-Bow, I thought I should tell you about my experiences. But I know that there are some "enthusiasts" not willing to look left and right. No offense.

@Monza: Yes you can.  :)

i think Monza's statement was a reply to your question not a question wanting an answer.
the Xbow is fugly IMO - i cant get my head round the looks.  Do like the idea of some ground effect  and the R does look marginally better. for me its the front lights. looks like that evil transformer.
also - how much is a standard Xbow compared to an atom?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, my friend.  :pop:

And another good saying: When the green flag drops, the bullshit stops  :checkeredflag:

Flatsix, did you ever drive at Spa ? what is your lap time for example ?

On the same twisty short track (not specialy good for the Atom), with same journalist driver (good driver), with only 5 laps in the cars (it's their rules to compare cars, not specialy good for the Atom to ) :
. Nissan GTR 2011 : 1'21"55
. XBow 240 : 1'21'20
. Lexus LFA : 1'20"64
. Atom 2 300 : 1'20"17
. XBow R 2011 : 1'19"51
The journalist was saying that he can improve the time of the Atom with more laps but was not thinking to get much more of the XBow R (easyer to bring to the limit).
The Atom is not easy to push to its real limit with such a few laps even if the journalist knows the track perfectly, for example, my brother was little bit faster than him after 5 laps even without knowing the track. It's clear that the XBox R is a good trackday car, the older ones were far from this new one !

Yes, but it was wet. So no reference round unfortunately.
But maybe you've been to Chenevières?
I had 1:45,2 (brakes fading)
My mate 1:44,0
