New McLaren P1 supercar...looks pretty sweet.
Re: New McLaren P1 supercar...looks pretty sweet.
Not very often I go wow at something but just like seeing the Mclaren F1 first pics in the early 90s. I've just had the same goosebumps moment. Love that rear end. Saw my first mp12c on the road this week also - very nice indeed!

the side view of this car is just stunning, this is what they should have made in the first place before the MP4-12C.
but nothing beats the F1...

There has been a small amount of inflation in the 20 years since the F1 came out.......
By all accounts this car will move things on in the world of hyper cars in the way the F1 did. Can't wait to see some road tests.

considering inflation thats not a bad price - houses have quadrupled in price so only an extra £300k for a Mclaren is not too bad! - ill have two please. do like the way the headlights shape on the P1 emmanates the accent on Mclaren badge.
still my favourite though...

To me it looks like the F1 re-imagined and updated with current technology. And I agree, this is what the MP should've been. McLaren is going to have to knock this outta the park to repair the mixed perceptions of the last project.

My wife's cousin has spent the last 3 years on this and is very proud - but I am not so sure about it myself. I hate to say it and will gush praise to him but....
There are great design elements but maybe its the colour scheme but I just dont think as a whole it looks that amazing. It isnt a real wow to me. Cant help but be a little disappointed.

production model will be a bit tamer and imagine it without the two tone colour scheme, it'll be great in real life! it actually looks a bit like the F1 if these things are adjusted.
