Nope not the best colour for Cyprus I agree....silver most suitable. But, very few silver cars around...if  any...In  the spec I wanted - second hand.

Another astonishing stat from Italy. The state pays an estimated €2 billion a year on 30,000 chauffeur-driven Alfa Romeos, Maseratis and Audis with tinted windows for their politicians.

Bit of a result (again) with insurance.....my company has given me a 4 month cover note at no cost!!!

well it's here and it's truly awesome.

The colour contrast of the red leather and black metallic  exterior looks fabulous, grey wheels and red calipers... sporty.....immaculate bodywork.... looks very classy.....and sinister.

Comfortable with lots of power......and the noise....my God, press "sport" and the world erupts in a roar, pops, burbles,  crackles that just bounce off everything......15mph sounds like you're going 80...downshift blips etc, lots of smiles.

It's gonna be a lot of fun driving this..... Photo's and a vid to follow...shortly.

That does sound nice..........Lads drive around Blackpool revving up like that, apparently its no longer socially acceptable....I think they are now calling it anti-social behaviour - I suppose though doing it in a supercar with a police officer is ok

Correct John, auto blip it was.....over revving would have been childish.....and besides I didn't think of it at the time...damn....will have to refilm

What do you mean 'just'?

It's brilliant! Makes you sound like you really know what you're doing to match revs on downshifts. Sounds amazing in the 430... And I imagine in the 458 as well...

Well..I mean if that's just the car blipping the throttle to change gears on the down shift what would it be like IF the driver floored it......I assume louder, more throaty
