It looks as though Sector111 is now selling the BAC Mono in the US.  List starts at $130,000.

Thanks for reminding me to look for updates on the 111 site.
The initial press release was short on details.

http://sector111.com/track/sector111-cars/bac-mono.cfm/
Exclusive
Only 12 imported into US as SKDs in 2012
half of the allocations are currently spoken for
Assembled by ASE certified, BAC factory trained techs at Sector111
partially built from BAC sourced NorthAmerican content
Sold as Track Use only
Imported as Semi Knock Down packages, but billed as track only.
I would imagine there are many advantages to importing "parts" vs "vehicles" and perhaps this leaves the door open to registration. Sector 111's Atom sales page is full of disclaimers, but at least alludes to the possibility of street registration.

It's interesting that when they originally proposed the BAC Mono it was expected to cost circa £60k.
Inflation has obviously had a drastic effect as now they are priced "from £100k" and the first 2nd hand one is ....

I'm getting mine next week after I've won the lottery!............................is it absolutely necessary to buy a ticket?.................is this why I haven't won it already?

Rather have the caparo. As long as it came with a fireproof suit.
