A friend of mine in London lives in a mews house with a ground floor garage which he had one wall built in glass so on raising a blind his car is in the room with you, really good feature.

No that, is officially, a cool idea........very.

It does, however, mean you have to keep your garage incredibly tidy!

Was very difficult to achieve as the building regulations for having a garage joined to your house are very tough even if you only want a door. The main expesnse / challenge was finding glass that would survive in a fuel fire for the required amount of time.
Agree it was a cool idea, in fact possibly the coolest thing I have seen in my lift but I am still young

Transparent Aluminium, it's good for starships and whales as well.
Actually aluminium oxynitride (ALON) is a transparent ceramic. It only costs about US$20,000 per m².

Being transported between two locations of different altitude obviously. I have quite a lot of other stuff in there but nothing as cool as a transparent garage wall.

Astra Van 1.7 TD, pink furry dice and a rubber duck on the dash, in the middle just above where it tells you the date and time and stuff on the digital thing.
Cost me 800 quid and was a proper fanny magnet. Left hooker too. Gutted!

I used to refer to it as my 2-wheeled car. Wasn't my cup of tea - didn't last long.

Nothing wrong with trying it out, at least you've tried them and had the experience

Re: Which other interesting cars have you owned / do you own
I just bought a Merc.....................
311 CDI LWB semi high top sprinter. It's a proper fanny magnet and you can sleep in the back even if you are a fat f***.
Beat that!
Can we have a thread on fit birds that we have shagged??????????????
I've had way more than I deserve with a boat like mine!

Would this be as a direct result of particular car ownership leading to success or just generally?
Also are we talking whilst single or at anytime?
Do you require photgraphic evidence of said fit birds?
Just thought I would clarify now before the new thread starts!
