If it goes in place of the second radiator (horizontal one) I'll be surprised it would be that effective with all the heat coming from the main water radiator just centimeters away. Maybe trying to diverting the airflow should work.

As far as I understand, that is the exact set-up on the Nomad R. Normal rad up front, and a charge rad horizontally behind.

It's actually not too dissimilar from the oil rad at the rear if you think about it. That's right next to the engine block and not exactly hitting cool air head on.

Yes sure, but the Delta T would be far far more sensitive for the charge cooler water than for oil, where it's actually not that critical to have 10, 15 or even 20 more °C as long as it is stable.
