Really? They look identical to my factory wings and supports - just with red vinyl on them? What makes you so sure that they are not?

The pictures aren't great and the details somewhat lacking, so I would be suspicious without some very clear close up photos of them off the car.

There are only really a few options in the UK, the Ariel factory, Skunkworx, or Reverie.

Personally, I'd stick to the factory wings which do occasionally come up for sale second hand on here and on Ebay. You could put up a wanted ad.

The ones in this thread look factory to me.

This is an Atom from the German distributor. He had both the sidepods and the wings made by himself. BTW the front wing is significantly shorter than the original from the factory.
However, I am not claiming that it is of poorer quality!

Fair enough and my apologies for suggesting otherwise. I can see now that the front wing is much shorter as you say. Strange that as the importer he didn't buy from the factory.

Well, I think he did, but then decided to have this made himself. Just like with the sidepods, which he had created based on the first drawings of the V8. He had to change them later, by order of the factory though...

Actually, it isn't shorter than the "original from the factory", as it looks about the same length, although it is shorter than the later, current one sold by the factory.

I had the very first set of CF wings fitted to my Atom 2, which came over America in November 2007, and they were short.

They replaced the Aluminium set of wings, which I'd had fitted when I bought my Atom in August 2006.

The short CF Wings, were then replaced with the longer CF wings at the end of 2009, after they were damaged.

Alec, you're right, of course, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong. The fact is that this wing is approx. 20cm shorter than the current one ...
Now we can discuss whether 20cm is already long or rather short
